Which OS can Amarisoft Product run on ?
You need a 64 bit Linux distribution to run Amarisoft products. Fedora 32 is the officially supported distribution. The following distributions are known as compatible:
- Fedora 17 to 34
- Ubuntu 12 to 20
Other distributions can be used provided the radio frontend drivers are available for them.
Can I try with another Linux distribution
You can try to use other Linux distribution as there is no real specific needs.
The only concern is about external dependencies libraries.
Our software are build on a Fedora 30 distribution.
GLIBC
Main concern is about GLIBC.
Our software require GLIBC >= 2.7, so you should at least check the desired distribution supports it.
Cent OS
Our software is known to work on Cent OS 7.
If you use USRP SDR card, you need to use UHD drivers 3.5.4 (You can use rpm for Fedora 19_64 from the Ettus site) to avoid dependency issue.
